Quincy Kay
I write under the pen name Quincy Kay (or, for my earlier books, Kjartansson) to separate my children's books from other writing. The patronym Kjartansson is taken from my husband, who is Icelandic. Some of my Icelandic-themed books like The Puffling Patrol and The 13 Nights are inspired by my husband's Icelandic heritage.
